Taking a human-centred design approach, the all-new Subaru Crosstrek has been years in research and development. In collaboration with a medical school, Subaru designers studied the structure and movement of the human body, to create a small SUV with an interior that is intuitive to your needs. 

From supportive seating to an intuitive dashboard design that reflects how sound and visual information is taken in by the human body. Every element of the interior design is focused on comfort, practicality, convenience and ease of use, to make each journey more enjoyable. Sitting proud in the centre of the all-new Subaru Crosstrek’s dash is a large, 11.6” full-HD infotainment system. The intuitive infotainment touchscreen puts key functions comfortably within the driver’s view and reach, while the wireless Qi charger* offers the ultimate in wireless device charging.

All variants feature wireless smartphone connectivity* with Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^TM, digital radio* (DAB+) and Bluetooth^®* wireless technology. The Subaru Crosstrek AWD 2.0S and Crosstrek AWD Hybrid S also feature the convenience of in-built satellite navigation.

The Driver Monitoring System (DMS)* in the all-new Subaru Crosstrek constantly monitors the driver’s attention, to detect whether their attention is waning or if they are starting to fall to sleep, to help reduce the chance of accidents.

Using near infrared LEDs and a camera, the vigilant DMS watches the driver for signs of fatigue and distraction and can deliver an alert warning to prompt them to refocus on the road ahead.

Drive to the beat of your own drum, knowing Subaru Crosstrek delivers a unique level of protection that is underpinned by the Subaru Global Platform, including the ring-shaped passenger safety cell. This safety cell cocoons occupants to absorb and direct the impact of a collision around the cabin, rather than through it. The chassis structure has also been engineered to include crushable zones, absorbing collision energy to better protect passengers. The inclusion of nine SRS* airbags, includes two new airbags, the front passenger seat cushion and far side airbag, to help reduce the possibility of serious injury in the event of an accident.​
